OUR STORY
A little Hollywood history, reimagined.
Bamboo Bungalow sits on the grounds of the former Palm Springs Racquet Club, a legendary desert retreat that welcomed Hollywood stars for generations. Today, our two-bedroom bungalow carries a little of that history forward—with modern comforts, laid-back style, and everything you need for an easy Palm Springs escape.
THE RACQUET CLUB
Where Hollywood came to play.
Founded in 1934, the Palm Springs Racquet Club became one of the desert’s most storied gathering places, a playground for movie stars and entertainers escaping Hollywood for the sun.

THE BAMBOO ROOM

The story behind our name.
Added to the Racquet Club in the late 1930s, the Bamboo Room became one of the club’s signature gathering places. Designed by Hollywood director Mitchell Leisen, the bar was part of the social scene that made the Racquet Club legendary. Bamboo Bungalow takes its name from this little piece of Palm Springs history.
