Historic Gem in the heart of
Palm Springs Racquet Club
The Bamboo Bungalow was once part of the historic Palm Springs Racquet Club, a legendary watering hole of the stars founded by a couple of actors in 1934. It remained there for 80 years, until a devastating fire in 2014. You can still see the remains standing on the north side of the complex. It included tennis courts, a swimming pool (Marilyn Monroe was first discovered here!), bungalows, and the “Bamboo Room” bar, which is where we get our name from! Almost all of the popular movie stars of the time frequented the Racquet Club, including Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant, Betty Davis, Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, and many others.
We are pleased to be part of this Palm Springs history and welcome you to stay in this updated 2-bedroom condo built in 1971, blending modern comfort with classic charm. The open floor plan, bright living area, and stylish décor create a welcoming space for relaxation and entertaining.
The kitchen boasts granite countertops, custom cabinetry, and full appliances. Enjoy outdoor living on the spacious patio with a hot tub, BBQ grill, and seating area. You’ll enjoy listening to the birds in the morning while you sip on your preferred morning beverage. The community also offers a pool and hot tub amidst lush landscaping. We hope you enjoy our place as much as we do!
